I misread my scribbled research notes when typing my response out for this blog. <BR/><BR/>Thankfully I save my research notes so I was able to go back and find out what I meant to type!<BR/><BR/>What I found was mention in the Ancestry.com online Tree of William being in Rains County in 1840.
